Wireless provider extends coverage for its next-generation wireless network; delivers high-speed data services up to 10 times faster than currently available

C Spire recently activated 4G LTE service on a new cell site in Canton, Mississippi, expanding and filling in coverage on the high-speed data network it launched last December for the city. 4G LTE allows C Spire customers to download apps and game faster, open files almost instantly, do real-time video chat, surf the mobile web, stream movies, music and video and post status updates and photos at speeds up to 10 times faster than previously possible.

C Spire introduced 4G LTE services last year as part of a multi-million dollar investment to bring the next generation of high-speed wireless technology to consumers and businesses in 37 Mississippi markets covering 2,700 square miles, a population of 1.2 million and 388 cell sites.
